In 2016 me and a friend (Ash) decided to walk 84 miles, the entire length of Hadrian's Wall. We did this for Charity, Bury Cancer Support.

Along the walk we carried our backpacks with our tents and each day we stopped off and camped, sometimes we stayed in a farm or in a pubs garden. It took us a week to do the walk and each day we roughly walked 10 to 15 miles. We ate at pubs along the way and met travelers from near and afar. Day one was the hardest as it was raining and windy but as the trek went on we had better weather a long the way. I even got a glimpse of the fighter planes from ww2 flying over the wall. We got up about 8 in the morning and set off on our walk and didn't stop till about 7pm. We raised about a thousand pound for the charity, This trip for me encouraged me to not only see the wall built by the Romans to keep out the northern tribes, I then decided to fly to china and walk the Great wall of China. I went from one dynasty the roman empire to the Chinese Dynasty to keep out the Mongolian Army.
